The store sells products to individuals of full age. The VAT is included in the product prices. We reserve the right to change the prices and shipping costs.

Ordering

Products are purchased by adding them to the shopping cart and paying for the shopping cart's contents by using an online payment service. All customer information is treated confidentially. Unless otherwise stated, the contact information indicated during order placement will only be used for delivering the order or clarifying any doubts that may occur. By placing an order in the store, you acknowledge that you read and accepted the shipping conditions valid at the moment of placing the order.

Paying and payment methods

Paytrail acts as the store's payment service with the following payment options: invoice, installment plan, card and online bank payments.

By providing your personal details at checkout, you accept Paytrail (Paytrail Oyj, Innova 2, Lutakonaukio 7, 40100 Jyväskylä) terms and conditions. By clicking "Place Order", you accept the shipping conditions of the Heica Oy.

Order and payment confirmation

Immediately after receiving your order, we'll sent you an order confirmation to your email with information about the order. Make sure that you check the contents of the order confirmation. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact our customer service. Keep the order confirmation in case you needed to contact the customer service. When contacting the customer service, always have your potential customer number and order number at hand. Always make sure that the parcel contents match the products listed in the order confirmation.

Returnpolicy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this agreement within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends within 14 days starting from the day you received the last shipment, or in the case of downloadable products, from the moment you received the order.

The goods must be returned unused and in the same condition in which you received them. The product’s information and sales tags must remain attached.

You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods (such as postage and packaging costs). These costs will not be reimbursed to the returner.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the agreement in an unambiguous way (for example, by mail or by email). You can also use our printable return form, but its use is not mandatory.

To comply with the deadline for withdrawal, it is sufficient that you submit your notice of cancellation before the end of the withdrawal period.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

You must return the goods without delay and no later than 14 days after informing us about your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You are only responsible for the kind of value decrease of the goods that did not result from treatment that is required for determining the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

Unclaimed packages

Not claiming a package is not tantamount to canceling or returning an order. Packages that haven't been claimed and for which no notice of cancelation has been provided are still subject to shipping costs.

In the event of a problem

If a product has been lost or damaged in transportation, or does not match your order, notify us within 14 days by writing to the address indicated in the Right of cancellation and return policy section or by calling the number indicated in the contact information. If the package has been clearly damaged during transportation, file a complaint immediately to the logistics company whose shipping method you selected.

Warranty

Heica Oy is responsible for the statutory liability for product defects under relevant EU law and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

You always have the right to a 2-year guarantee from the moment you received the goods. The 2-year guarantee period starts as soon as you receive your goods.

Unless otherwise required by mandatory law, Heica’s maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the defective product. If the product you received is damaged or defective, please contact us without delay. Scope of Warranty

Heica Oy grants a warranty for defects in materials and workmanship for new
Heica branded products.

The warranty does not cover damage that occurs through normal use or wear over time. It also does not cover any damage caused by animals, such as chewing, eating, tearing, breaking or similar behavior.

Excessive wear of the feeder is usually caused by an animal not using the feeder correctly or by the product (e.g. the net hole size) being too challenging for the animal to use. The animal should always be guided on how to use the product when it is introduced for the first time, and its use should be monitored to ensure proper use.

The warranty begins on the date the products are delivered to the customer and remains valid for two (2) years from that date.

Under the warranty, any covered defects detected during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge during normal working hours by Heica’s repair shop, an authorized Heica service partner, or at another location specified by Heica from time to time. For warranty repairs, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to Heica’s repair shop (or another repair shop approved by Heica). This means that the customer is responsible for the shipping costs and bears the risk for the product during transport. The warranty for the repaired piece of products will be valid until the expiry of the original Warranty Period.

The warranty shall not cover the repair of defects due to normal wear and tear, including, acts and/or omissions of animals, such as, but not limited to, biting, eating, tearing, breaking and/or other damages made by them. It also shall not cover compensation for direct or indirect loss or damage due to a defective piece of equipment, and/or repair of defects if repairs or modifications have been made to the products by a party other than Heica’s repair shop or a repair shop authorized by Heica.

Heica’s liability for the defects of the products shall be limited to the fulfilment of its warranty obligations under this warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Request

If you wish to submit a warranty claim for your product, please contact the retailer from whom you originally purchased it. If you bought the product directly from us, please email us at info@heicahorse.com and include the following:

  • Clear, detailed photos of the damaged product(s)
  • A description of how and when the damage occurred
  • A photo or copy of your purchase receipt

Depending on the issue, we may ask for additional information or photos of the damaged product.
