2050 the European Union aims to build a climate-neutral circular
economy. To reach this goal, the EU has specific rules to reduce
waste and make products last longer. How is this connected to Heica?
Well, our operations are already aligned with the EU's 2050 climate targets.

of our materials come from recycled sources. If these materials were
not reused, they would likely end up in landfills or go through
additional recycling processes. By using rescue / recycled materials,
we give them a second life and reduce waste on the planet.
We
also aim to inspire our customers to embrace the circular economy.

Packaging and Logistics
Our approach to packaging follows the same principles as our production: we aim to make the most of existing resources by using industrial surplus. Unlike recycled cardboard, surplus materials require no additional energy for processing and can be used as they are.
We constantly monitor transportation and work to reduce its impact. We choose local partners to keep transport distances short and provide accurate product descriptions to minimize returns. Returned or damaged products are cleaned, repaired, and reused whenever possible, for example, through animal welfare organizations.
